Feeting Time

I ate some piggy feet at the Vanderbilt last night. It was sort of all chopped up and formed into a loosely packed square "patty," and then battered and fried, crab cake style. So no toenails or anything. It was okay. I took a picture on my phone but it didn't turn out. Needless to say, I look incredibly young this morning.

Weird dream, everyone.

I dreamt we were all together at this Japanese restaurant and we ate a big ol' mess o' pags' fayt. Only we took pictures so we could look at the pictures and enjoy the pictures.

Crazy I know.

click here to find out what happened to you

This from a guy

1. andrew can't figure out how to even put a link on a simple pigs feet eating blog
b. i'm sure as hell glad that this blog is produced by google
3. andrew, you are fired

Preliminary Thoughts

The Pigs Feet Restaurant is super good. I might actually have trouble eating PF's anywhere else, actually. Thoughts? Leave them in comments!

Quick Link

Some of you may have seen this before, but it's always good to have a little refresher.

Amazing Packaging: Part 1

Is that a drunken Mr. Peanut?
Stay tuned for part 2.

Closing Arguments

Right click -> "Open in new Tab/Window" for non-retargeted links that you want in a new tab or window. No such alternative exists for links that specify a target.

Also you can set your web browser to open EVERYTHING in a new tab/window if you are super gay and a homo. Otherwise, you understand and can use your back button, which by the way is simply "Backspace," and does not even require the "command" key.

I rest my case.

Here is a co-blogger that we should all be aware of

[via the internet]

Update concerning where the restaurant is at again

A reader emails:
is anyone else coming? 8 pm at the place.

61 Grove St NEW YORK, NY 10014

(bet. Bleecker St. & 7th Ave S)

Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

Where is the restaurant at again?

Where is the restaurant at, again?

It's PF Day!

Don't forget, everyone, today's the day we go to that old Pig's Feet Restaurant. I call it PF Day. PF stands, of course, for Pigs Feet!

Food for Thought!

Great article in today's Pig Feet news feed search. This smart lady has some great worlds for all you out there in the Orwellian Left.

The Pigfoot Rebellion

When the hair is carefully trimmed away
You find in the pig's forefoot a little hole
Through which the legion of devils bow in and out.

Say they enter on a summer morning,
Leaving the marks of their tiny claws as six
Small rings. Then, 'please the pigs,'

As the Saxons say, those trotters flash
In as fiddle a jig as you who listen
Candidly will hear from any warm

Sly singer in the mud: 'Oh the mud is good,
There's plenty of good to be found in slops,
And the best of the good is a beast in shade.

They'll slit my ear and cast me out
Unfit for human consumption. Bub,
I'll follow anyone home who feeds me, yes,

And live to a hundred and five or ten.' Oh trim
The hair from a pig's forefoot; I'll show you why
A poke is best from the inside. And a sty.

Travis, if you need help setting up your browser,

I can help

I don't know that this needs to become like an ongoing feud or anything

But target="_blank" is totally for les hommeaux.

Shove The Pig's Foot A Little Closer To The Fire

It appears as though the Irish are actually rather advanced PF-ers. We should really learn this for tomorrrow.

Guys, everyone,

Irish Pigs' Feet Recipe

Found this. I guess they pretty much eat pig foots anywhere they eat pig bodies.

Emma writes: "Your blog is lovely. But I would appreciate some more comments enlightening me as to the taste, texture, and general experience of eating pig's feet."

I'll let everyone else weigh in in comments, but thanks for this email. The answer is that the taste, texture, and general experience of eating pig's feet is awesome!

Welcome to Dmitry!

Our newest contributor! Let's have a toast!

What do you like to do after work?

andrew already has one, hurry while supplies last!!

Seriously Andrew

This button right here:

This is the first story in today's Ask Jeeves news search for "pigs feet."

I'm really not impressed with what you can find searching the internet for info on pigs' feet. Too many people relying on the isn't-that-weird-and-gross factor in place of real humor in "funny" videos on OurTube, for example. Weak.

So I'm not posting any video here.

I don't think I have admin access or whatever to fix the blog title. Andrew, I imagine that you are aware of this and are just messing with me.

What if a pig ate it's own feet?!?

The Lighter Side of Things....

I'm not sure how this pig manages to walk without
feet and only one crutch, it seems like more of a two crutch
situation. Then again, I've never had both of my feet cut off , so
how would I know.

Don't do this search!

If you search on Ask Jeeves for Pig's Feet, don't look at the 8th result! Don't look here!

UPDATE: This link is NSFW! Thanks for the comment, Peter!

Thanks Travis!

Feel free to go ahead and make any changes to our friendly family blog!

Wow, hi, welcome you very much.

I think this blog should really be called "The Eating Pigs' Feet Blog," because that's what it is, a blog about eating pigs' feet. Not pigs' feet eating blogs. At the very least the apostrophe's misplaced. Or should I say, the apostropheez nuts.

Also Andrew forgot to hyperlink the Tonton website: http://www.tontonnyc.com/

Welcome to the Pig's Feet Eating Blog. This is going to be a group blog, where a bunch of us document our experiences eating pig's feet in New York. First on the docket is Hakata Tonton, a Japanese restaurant that specializes in this shit!
